I offer appointments Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 9.30pm, excluding UK Bank Holidays.
My practice covers Romford, Gidea Park, Harold Wood, Brentwood and surrounding areas, with in-person sessions available at a private, convenient location just a 3-minute walk from Harold Wood station:
Willow Herbal Centre
2 The Drive, Romford RM3 0DU
Client parking on site. Accessible room subject to availability.
Bus routes 256, 294, 347, 496, 497 & 646 all stop at Harold Wood Station.
I also offer online counselling via Zoom, for UK resident clients only, from my home on the borders of London & Essex.
If you are not sure if counselling is for you, or would like to know a little more about me, or how I might be able to help you, please contact me for a free 20-minute confidential chat by telephone without any obligation.
£60 / 50 minutes
The first session is a consultation, a chance for me to learn a little bit more about you, what has brought you to counselling, and what you hope to get from your sessions. More importantly, it is an opportunity for you to explore whether you would like to work with me. There is no obligation to commit to further sessions unless you would like to. You will be sent a counselling contract and contact details form before this session.
£60 / before 5pm
£65 / 5pm onwards
Should you decide to continue, sessions last 50 minutes and are normally scheduled weekly, or bi-weekly, on the same day and at the same time depending on your preference.
If you feel you need more sessions initially, or longer or shorter sessions would work better for you, then please let me know and I will do my best to work something out.
There is no minimum or maximum number of sessions, I offer both short and long-term therapy, but we will review this regularly together and you can decide to stop at any time. Sessions can be in-person or online depending on your availability and preference.
Insurance & EAP:
£75 a session
If you have a healthcare provider who has agreed to cover your sessions and you would like me to invoice them directly, initial consultations and ongoing sessions are charged at a flat fee of £75.
Please ensure you contact your insurer and check if your policy covers you for therapy sessions and will allow you to work with me before getting in touch.
As all providers operate differently, it is worth checking what you can claim, whether you will need a referral from your GP, the number of sessions covered by your policy, and any insurance excess you may be responsible for.
If your insurer approves your sessions please let me know your policy number and authorisation code.
Fees exclude the cost of any letters/reports I may be asked to write.
Once we have agreed a day and time to meet, whether in-person, online or by phone, this space is allocated and reserved exclusively for you.
To secure this space I kindly ask that all fees are paid in full via BACS or online transfer at least 48 hours prior to each session taking place.
If advance payment is not received, your session cannot be held or guaranteed going forward.
Cancellation & Termination Policy
Sessions cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time, or not attended without notice, are charged in full. If you need to rearrange a session, with due notice I will do my best to offer you an alternative.
If you do not turn up for two consecutive sessions without notice, I reserve the right to end our counselling contract.
If I am unable to make a session for any reason, I will give as much notice as I possibly can and I will always try to offer an alternative. If the alternative offered does not work for you then you will not be charged for the session.
