when words alone are not enough

Hello and welcome,

There may be many reasons why you found your way here today, but I am glad you did.

Life is unpredictable; it can be difficult and messy and our world can be turned upside down in a heartbeat.  We all struggle at times and this can leave us thinking, feeling or behaving in ways we do not understand.  Perhaps feeling sad, angry, worried, lost, stuck, hopeless, numb or just confused, wanting something to be different or to change, but not being able to find a way forward.

Counselling provides a warm, welcoming, safe and confidential space away from the pressures of your everyday life, where you can be heard.  A space where you will be supported to explore what is going on for you, and where you can begin to make sense of things.

Talking things through with someone who is trained to listen, and who will not judge you or tell you what to do, can help you understand yourself and your situation better. With greater self-awareness and insight, you can discover new solutions and start to move forward towards living your life the way you want to live it, learning tools and techniques along the way to help you better cope with life’s inevitable challenges.
